Luís Fernandes works on different media: painting, drawing and photography. His work encompasses several projects, reflecting approaches with references from cinema to the ludic power, passing through mythological figures and religious references. When it comes to painting, usually approaches her characters as if they were being portrayed while they are in the act of being photographed, where her themes are very much about appropriating the female gender, while reflection seems to have a deep and negligent treatment. He is interested in the present tense, interpreting a vision in which he sometimes plays the sense in the second person.
